About the speaker:
Sr Prof. Mike Wong Chik-wing, Deputy Managing Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SKHP), has had a long and distinguished career as a professional surveyor. During this time, he has left his mark on Hong Kong’s skyline after overseeing the development of the city’s two tallest buildings: the International Commerce Centre (ICC) in Kowloon and the International Finance Centre (IFC) on Hong Kong Island. He also built Shanghai IFC, one of the landmarks in Pudong, Shanghai. Sr Prof. Wong is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Project Managers. He has served as a member of the Construction Industry Council and the Hong Kong Housing Society, and was appointed as a Justice of Peace. Sr Prof. Wong has established scholarships and served as an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
